A new Samsung feature phone has come to market with some unique features. This phone can access television channels. Read more about the Samsung Eternity II here in this informative article.
Samsung creates a phone for everyone. They are constantly putting out different models to make the mobile world happy. This new mark, the Samsung Eternity II, is indicative of those who are not quite ready to move up to a smartphone yet. It has much of the looks of the more expensive smartphones, but not enough power to be one. The screen and buttons are the ways to navigate the Eternity II. There is no manual keyboard. This kept the handset thin. It is just half an inch thick. It is 4.41 inches tall.
The screen on the Samsung Eternity II is a three inch model without any surprises. It is created with the LCD technology that uses more enery and is dimmer than the newer AMOLED technology. The positive side of the display is that Samsung included just a bit more resolution than some “regular” models. It has 240 by 400 pixels of resolution. There are not many features other than that the display is a touchscreen.
The camera is located on the back of the Samsung Eternity II. It has two megapixels of picture taking power. That is not much, but this is a feature phone. It is a low priced device that was not designed for those needing high powered features. The camera can take videos at QVGA resolution. It has smile detection, panorama mode, night mode and geo tagging.
The wireless connections do not include Wi-Fi. Nevertheless, the Samsung Eternity II does have HSPA 7.2, which is close in download speeds with Wi-Fi. The other connections include bluetooth ( in stereo ), data tethering, flight mode and a web browser. The MediaFlo feature that is included on the Eternity II is offered in three levels. The highest level and most expensive includes Sony Pictures channel. The high end may cost around thirty extra dollars a month. The lower levels may cost around thirteen dollars a month. The best choice seems to be the midrange, at fifteen dollars a month. It includes nine channels.
The Samsung Eternity II includes Java. This means you can download games. It also has an alarm, calculator and a voice recorder. The memory card slot is able to hold a huge card of up to 32 gigabytes. This is in addition to 512 megabytes of ROM and 256 megabytes of RAM. This feature phone is nearly a smartphone, but lacks the correct operating system.
The colors you can get a Samsung Eternity II in seem limited to the two-tone blue and black. This is a nice combination and good looking. The overall looks of this feature phone are similar to an older iPhone. The talk time is rated at five hours with the 1000 mAh battery. Look for this handset to be sold on the AT&T network. It is available now online for free with a contract.
