The ISO sensitivity and CCD sensor is decent than most of the so-called camera phones out in the market. The camera s also able to record QVGA quality video up to 30 fps frame rate in MP4 or 3GP quality.
Display :
The display is not quite adequate with the camera facility though, it features a 2.4” TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolutions.
Memory :
The S 1200 has 70 MB internal phone memory, shared with default applications, that is expandable up to 32 GB by T Flash card only.
Design :
Basic bar type phone, sleek and simple design, they are no striving fancy outlook that can attract the eyes of people.
Connectivity :
The mobile has basic connectivity solutions only, Bluetooth, EDGE and extra TV out feature for the optimized camera.
Battery :
The S1200 has 1000 MH battery that is capable of giving 3 hours continuous talk time or 150 hours standby time.
Price :
The mobile has an official cost tag of Rs. 16, 990/- which is available at approximate Rs. 14, 500/- at street price.
Considering the features the mobile has both good and bad points to consider while deciding to buy it.
Pros :
- Great camera quality and some professional touch of a decent digital camera.
- Larger expandable storage capacity.
- Good for daily using & point and shoot facility.
- FM Radio is accompanied with recording facility.
Cons :
- Overpriced for the camera only.
- No 3G support.
- Given the camera and other features, the display lags behind.
The mobile is undoubted a step towards optical zoom ready mobiles that may improve the overall camera quality of mobiles in the competitive market and ultimately will lower the cost of camera mobiles in the upcoming future.

i luved this phone with 12 mp camera and a memory to store about 10000 pic its coming at a grt prise too i wish they would also have launched 1 in touch screenI recently buyed this phone after having thorough check about this cam phone before buying….Its absolutely 12 mega pixel which is 4000*3000…Great pictures with wonderfull clarity..Fash is very powerfull…I dont know about how spice had launched other models but belive me my friends this phone is really rocking with excellent clarity and 3+ optical zoom..Am really satisfied with this cell…Please dont belive anybody saying neg about s1200…Its really worth to buy this cell at this cost..Once u buy u all will definately belive that am 200% true expeiernced with this product all the best..go ahead…Indian company rocks…Jai mata ki..Long live spice co..Hope this is the rt time for spice to really get some very attractive nad graet products like spice S1200
