Sony Ericsson puts out some high quality equipment and their latest smartphone, the Xperia X10, is a good example. If you like having the newest technology in your smartphone and it must look good to boot, you should take a look at this smartphone from Sony.

This is the phone you wish you had last year. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is now the flagship phone for their company and it is a winner. It has a super large touchscreen, plenty of processing power, great connectivity and a killer camera. What more do you need ?

The size of this powerful little smartphone is just 119 millimeters tall by 63 millimeters wide by 13 millimeters thick. It weighs 135 grams, which is a bit lighter than some other flagship phones from other manufacturers. That is 4.76 ounces for you folks from the United States. The screen is a huge and beautiful 10.16 centimeters wide. The display is one of the big “plusses” for this smartphone. It is bright and responsive to touch. It uses the older TFT technology, but is impressive just the same. It shows 65,000 colors and shows a resolution of 480 by 854 pixels. Videos show very well on a screen of this magnitude.

Once you use the camera on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 you will fall in love with it. The pictures are crisp and with flash are easy to take. The camera features touch focus, geotagging, face and smile detection, image stability and video. The X10 takes videos at thirty frames per second. The speakers are stereo and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack is included.

Android is packed with this Sony Ericsson smartphone. It is quickly becoming a normal thing to see a new smartphone with this operating system from Google. You will be amazed at what you can do with it. You can send a text message to your phone and clean out all your information. This is done for security purposes should you lose your phone or have it stolen. You can download android apps that save you money when are out buying stuff. How do you do that ? You download “Barcode Scanner” online and just start pointing it at bar codes of things you are interested in buying. It will give you information and prices from the web. It was developed for Android by ZXing Team. Android allows you to keep in touch with all your social contacts using the Android system. You can customize your phone to your heart´s delight. Timescape is a system created just by Sony Ericsson that allows you to centralize your contacts and even recognize their face with software.

The inner workings of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 are impressive as its looks. It has a racy 1000 megahertz processor that allows you to zip through screens. But this raciness also eats up your battery. The battery is a 1500 mAh size and is larger than many, but is still worn out quickly by the fast processor. The browser is one of the best quality mobile browsers out there. It is supplied by WebKit. Google maps are standard with Android.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is only released in Europe and soon in Canada. Its delivery in the United States is not yet announced. Iphone users are looking at this one with an expectant eye. It is improving slowly but seems to be a successful first start for Sony Ericsson and the Android operating system.

This is a good phone, but it’s too expensive!! Usually Sony Ericsson phone’s price will be dropped in short time so I guess no worries.. I want to try android too, because I never use this OS before. thx for sharing this info, though.. :)

good review. love my x10. great unlocked android phones. it’s practical, touch screen is responsive. me my wife and daughter are obsessed. the email and gps are great for my business and the processor is lighting fast. way better than our old unlocked nokia. battery life lasts all day long and the phone looks great, get tons of compliments on this phone. the web browser is easy to navigate around and a great way to keep up on my fantasy football team. also got our cell phone unlock codes and sony ericsson unlock codes for free. so that’s cool. the camera and recorder are crisp and great too, daughter loves that. also the facebook is really easy to get around, it’s like going on my computer. the games and apps keep us busy on long trips too. got our last couple unlocked 3g phones at unlockthatphone.com were pretty happy.
