The last time we saw Android developer phones was when Google released the Google Nexus One and the Google Nexus S. Popular mobile chip manufacturer Qualcomm has recently revealed its own Android developer smartphone and it comes with very impressive specifications.

Qualcomm’s developer phone has yet to be named and is targeted to developers and not regular consumers.

- Operating system: Android 2.3
- Processor: 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon with Adreno 220 GPU
- RAM: 1 GB
- Camera: 13 megapixel rear, 1.2 megapixel front
- Stereo speakers
- 4 microphones
There are two drawbacks that are the reason why this model won’t be heading to consumers. First it isn’t a Google certified device so it does not come with access to the Android Marketplace. Second, instead of a cell, it uses a battery pack.
The company has not released pricing details and release date on this model.
