LG is cranking out some new phones for the Summer. The LG Sentio is one of them. It is created for the new partnership LG now has with T-Mobile Networks. T-Mobile has never used any phones before from LG, so this will be a first !
The LG Sentio is a not a smartphone, but does have some of the looks of a smartphone. It is equipped with a three inch touch screen and virtual QWERTY keyboard. There is no manual keyboard. If you think you may have seen this before under a different name, you are correct. It is called the LG GS500 Cookie Plus, a member of the wildly popular “cookie” series of LG phones.

The touch screen is a respectable 240 by 400 resolution display. This equals out to a format of WQVGA. The menus are easily customizable with LG providing lots of widgets to personalize the phone with. The rest of the device is covered in a nice blue finish that makes it look more expensive than it really is.
The LG Sentio will use the “Social Buzz” feature that allows you to keep in close contact with friends or family. This happens through social networks. The camera that the Sentio comes with is a three megapixel model with video. The Sentio also comes with a music ( MP3 ) player, visual voicemail, and GPS.
If you need space, as in memory space, the Sentio has a micro SD card slot for those monster gigabyte slices of memory. The price on the Sentio is going to be a very moderate one. There is no official word yet on that, but this is not a device that will kick much tail in the technology world. It is destined to be available on June 30.
