Technology is still going at warp speed and LG is due to host an event this month showing their latest work. The movie “Iron Man 2″ supposedly has the new “LG Ally” in many of its scenes. What makes it so appealing ? Take a look here at what is released so far on this new and fast smartphone.
LG Ally-Android Phone
Well, about that question; “What makes the LG Ally so appealing ?”, is that it has Android. It is the first time LG ( Life is Good ) has created a smartphone with the Andrdoid platform for its operating system. It is rumored to be running version 2.1, which is the Eclair version. Version 2.2 of Android is due to be out soon.
There are no measurements yet on the LG Ally, but what is known about this smartphone is that it has a lot of good looks to it. It is a handsome looking phone. It reminds one of the Nokia N900 or the Motorola Droid. It has a full QWERTY manual keyboard that thankfully slides out from under the screen horizontally. If you have tried to use a full manual keyboard smartphone that slides out vertically you know what a pain it is to try and use.
Believe it or not, the people at Sprint may have a version of the LG Ally, but under a different name. It will be called the “Aloha” and could possibly have WiMaX. WiMaX is similar to Wi-Fi but is somewhere around ten times faster than Wi-Fi. Combining WiMaX and Android into one smartphone could turn out to be a monster !
LG Ally
If you know a little bit about Android, they have 50,000 applications ( apps ) available to users. They have hardly been out a year yet and they have just under half the amount of apps that iPhones have. That should say a lot to those who are keeping up with the mobile community. The LG Ally is going to be one of those “cutting edge” phones.
The LG Ally is going to have a five megapixel camera. Not much else is known about the video capabilities. The processor is probably going to be a 1000 megahertz Snapdragon processor. If not 1000 megahertz, it will have a 600 megahertz processor. Either way, it is not going to be a slow smartphone.
On May Eleventh ( 2010 ), LG is hosting an event in New York to give the rest of the world a chance to see the Ally. There are some videos circulating around the web with the Ally featured in “Iron Man 2″ trailers. Some people may get the Iron Man movie for free on their Ally smartphone. Look for its release on May 20, with Verizon ( Big Red ) as the carrier.

Nice phone but some problem remains here also….
Camera megapixel must b atleast 5mp so that it becomes standard
Video playback formats are too short.it can play mp4,3gp & 2 others.atleast avi support must b there
Inbuilt memory must be there
