Is The Upcoming iPhone 4G A Phone To Die For?

by Admin on April 3, 2010

Apple has been busy creating their next upgrade to what may be the world´s most popular smartphone. Unfortunately, some believe the answer to that question above is a definitive; “Yes.”. Read on to find out the story on what is going on with the latest offering from Apple, the iPhone 4G. Apple iPhone is going to be released on July 17 or earlier.

The word “4G” is floating around heavily in the mobile community. To be more exact, it is taking off like a rocket. The people at HTC already have a smartphone out that uses 4G technology. Sprint is also selling 4G ( WiMax ) hotspots that can service up to five WLAN ( Wi-Fi ) devices at once. Will Apple give their new iPhone this ability ? In a few months the world will know. The newest version of this famous device is going to be released on July 17 or earlier. Some people with deep pockets will more than likely get it before the general public.

The recent event of a Foxconn employee losing his life after losing a prototype iPhone, makes things seem dead-serious about this new iPhone. This happened last July ( 2009 ). The employee, Sun Danyong, was 25 years old and reportedly committed suicide after losing the prototype. He was reported to have jumped out of his apartment window.

An AMOLED screen is expected to pop up on the iPhone 4G. This is the newest technology for small portable screens, such as those on cell phones. It uses less energy, is faster and brigher. There is no doubt here the battery-killing iPhones of the past could have used this new AMOLED stuff a bit sooner. Samsung is certainly taking off with it. The United States is in a slump, technologically speaking, and follows other countries such as Korea. Iphones, including the iPhone 4G, are made in China.

Whatever you hear about the iPhone 4G online, you can be sure that 99% of it is pure speculation. It may not even have the “4G” name. The networks that handle the 4G broadcasting are Clearwire, Verizon, and AT&T. China Mobile, the world´s largest wireless carrier, is still upgrading to 3G networks on their own standard. They will likely be the controlling force in the acquisition of 4G technology in the world.

Everyone who has an iPhone has a point on their device they would like changed for their next version. Some of the points are; more memory ( about 64 gigabytes ), a removable battery, Wi-Fi “N” mode ( Samsung has this, and it is loads faster than “G” ), new operating system, drag and drop to the iPad and more realistic games using OpenGL 4.0. How much of these will Apple deliver ? At least, at the very least, an upgrade to Wi-Fi “N” level. The “N” level is at least five times faster than previous modes and can reach farther also. Technology is always advancing, and it is for sure Apple will keep up.

The last point is one that is put forth by some is that they are tired of seeing a “black thing with a button”. If the iPhone 4G can be updated in the category of looks, it is sure to continue to be a hit. Many people buy a cell just because it is new and “looks cool”. It is kind of like fashion clothing for them. The iPhone needs some new threads. Look for this also on the latest shining star from iPhone.

the iPhone will not have 4G capability. The only carrier with 4G is sprint. This article is a joke.

Yes Sprint have 4G capability for their latest offer HTC EVO 4G but some of reputed sources like EnGadget.com suggest that iPhone will also come with 4G Capability. As from my view, new phone should be named iPhone HD which is also suggested by many experts! Let’s see what will come out in next few days.

They can put a 4G radio in the phone but they can’t use it because no other carrier in the US has 4G capabilities. So…no it’s not a 4G device.

Has anyone posting could think that the G in the 3G is Generation and not the speed of the Network. I think it’s a play on words that can be very confusing.

The iphone could 4g capable and when ever AT&T upgrade, then the phone will just handle it. Just a thought people.
