I have literally been online for almost a decade. I own dozens of website’s which I have personally built myself. Building those sites took a lot of time and resources but under wordpress, it is as easy as lifting a finger. Most of the sites I build today with wordpress, I build under the content management system

For you website’s, you should be aware of the hosting company’s cPanel. Many hosting company have the control option for “Fantastico Deluxe”. By clicking on the icon, you will be taking to a new screen where you have various application. If you scroll down, you will notice the wordpress link, click on the link and it will ask you certain question before the installation takes place. That it all it takes to have your site ready.
Themes:
There are so many wordpress themes available. You can find at least over 1000 themes online. The default wordpress theme is just plain and without much design on it. Some webmasters don’t mind using the default theme but if your focus is niche oriented, you will have to either purchase a theme or find a theme close to your niche.
Functionality:
It is quite easy to get a handle of wordpress function. Everything is easy to use and implement. If there is a certain function you need and you can not find it in wordpress or online, you can have a programmer make you wordpress plugins that would do what you need. As of today, there are over 7000 plugins on the wordpress site.
Open Source:
The inbuilt PHP is wordpress is available to everyone. With an open source code programmers can create themes and plugin with little effort.
Self Updating:
The recent wordpress has a plugin that automatically updates and upgrades wordpress anytime there is a new update available.
For me, wordpress is without a doubt the simplest platform for building your site. It has lots of plugins and themes to choose from. With its ease of functionality couple with others things makes it a must have for every webmaster.
