iPhone operating system 4.0, a whole set of new feature and developed tools combined in a next generation innovative idea, has been announced from apple that they expect to change the way of mobile interfacing in the future. It not only have over 1500 API and more than 100 new apps, but also bring some unique features that has never been used in any mobile operating system before. Competitor companies saying Apple is trying to mimic the Android operating system version 2.1 named Éclair but in features it offers lot more and offers a wide range of user interfacing capability.
The most wanted feature that makes difference between any normal phone and smartphone, multitasking will be available in the new iPhone operating system in a novel way. Users can listen to their favorite audio track while browsing, chatting or playing game unless these have any sound of their own. Voice over IP will get the most out of this new feature, enabling to receive calls while using any other application. Applications run simultaneously in the system, and then also get finished in the background, if any, notifications also pop up for any change that needs to notify the user. Switching from one application to another is quite easy any time saving in the new operating system.
Apple iAd is venture of Apple to get into the world of mobile advertisement revenue through showing ads in mobile platform via third party ads. iAd will be a lot different than any current advertisement showing system, while clicking any ad users don’t have to navigate to the advertisement website, instead of that the iAd will run in that page in full screen and can be stopped anytime, taking users back to the very windows they were in previously. Apple will allow the application developers to integrate iAd in their third party ads and they will deliver that to the iPhone wirelessly upon their interest, at a charge of 40% of the advertisement revenue collected from iAd mobile advertising system.

One of the most impressive functions of the Apple iPad, the iBook that alone has rivaled eBook readers like Amazon Kindle and defeated them, will be available in the Apple iPhone OS 4.0. Apart from the smaller screen size that iPad; iPhone users will have the same feelings of reading any physical volume in hand that they get in iPad.
A new game center will be available for users, quite like the idea of social gaming, where multiplayer games will be available from low end to high end, and users can invite friends to play, can keep track of their scores and compare the scores while competition with each other. The full version will release shortly in summer this year as a free upgrade to the existing iPhone operating system and will be compatible for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and later in the year, for iPod Touch and iPad too.
