Android apps ( applications ) have got to be the hottest item on the web at the moment. What are some of the advancements this week in the Android app world ? Take a look right here.
One of the newest Android apps has already been out for a while with iPhones. It is made by Mint dot com, and is a financial app created to show you what is going on with your money. You can monitor your bank account, credit card and investment accounts. Watch your cash get bigger and smaller with the summary form. The app lacks the pie-chart graphics of the web site, but you can see all of your money matters without a problem by drilling down in the menus of the app. Getting this app is not “totally” free, you must register with an account to get it.
It was only a matter of time before someone created an Android app to log in to your computer remotely. The “Log Me In Ignition” is created for your connectivity pleasure. You can connect to your desktop, to your home page on your computer and anything else you could have done if you were sitting in front of your computer. You can even change the screen resolution of the app and view your computer screen super large. This is a highly useful app that is in beta mode at the moment and free to download.
How about a new game ? You will find one this week named “Jewellust”. It is one of those Android games that you can play in a few hours or a few seconds. It works by giving you pictures of jewels that you must match up. Get three in a row and that row disappears and you advance. The game has an Egyptian ambience to it, kind of like Indiana Jones, and you get a lite version for free. The pro version is $2.95 dollars. You can save the game and come back at the level you were at when you stopped playing. It is nice feature and an interesting game.
If you are forgetful or just plain too busy to remember everything, there is a new Android app that you should check out. They called it “Pure Calendar Widget”. What is so pure about it ? That part is still a mystery, but it could be because this is connected to your Google calendar. That is, if you have a Google calendar that works. It has been down lately. You get your choice of wallpapers and sizes. The Android app adds, deletes or edits anything on your hectic schedule for you. Let your smartphone do the memory stuff while you do the real work. It is $1.50.
