It has just been released that Apple has ten thousand iPad applications ( apps ) available for download. It stands to reason that at least one is perfect for what you need. The number of apps is growing steadily and quickly. Take a look at some you may like on your own iPad.
In the past six weeks, the iPad app store doubled in the amount of apps they have. That is good news for developers and users alike. One sweet app is the Twitter app called “SimplyTweet3″. This is an app that allows you to send tweets and retweets. A “retweet” is sending the same update over again. Others can also retweet in some circumstances. SimplyTweet3 has a control panel for creating tweets, offline caching ( storage ) of tweets, and image preview. It has a hashtag directory where every hashtag you have ever used is stored. It has a price of $4.99.
Wired magazine has their own app for those who like a digital version. It is full of interactive video, audios, special features and advertisements. Yes, advertisements, because it is a magazine. You get links to websites and good looking graphics with this iPad app. You can swipe the page in multiple directions and achieve multiple effects. It is not clear why you may want this if you can get wired online for free, but the extra interactivity may be the answer. This app sells for $4.99.
The last iPad app is a time saver. It is called “Simple2Do”. This app makes a list of “things to do” for you and allows you to get organized, therefore saving you the time of having to think of what to do next. You just tap a button named “compose” and have at it.
While you are inputting information you can create categories on the fly. All these categories show up on the home screen, ready to be followed. One category that is always listed is “Now Due”, which tells you those tasks that need doing right away. Simple2Do is intuitive and is priced very sensibly at ninety nine cents.
