You can put notes, photos and recordings into Evernote and it automatically syncs to your iPhone, Mac or PC. Apple calls it an “extension of your brain”. The program allows you to make your scrapbook on your iPad and not have to juggle things around in your busy day. Have an important interview ? Write yourself a note and put it into Evernote. Did you just take a photo and do not know what it might be useful for ? Put it into Evernote. Deadlines are easier to meet when you have a digital secretary helping you. That is somewhat the usefulness of Evernote.

The next free iPad app for developers is the “Photopad” app. It can really help a graphic designer because it is a photo editor for the iPad. Cropping images is a no-brainer. Just drag the crop tool and check the green box and your image is cropped. Drawing on photos is easy. The Photopad app also comes with some graphic effects.
